Pupil Premium

Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) funding is received by the school annually and is used in a variety of ways in order to improve the attainment and progress of groups considered vulnerable to underachieving (children receiving free school meals, children who are looked after and children from service families). Schools decide how to use the PPG allocation, as they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for individual pupils.

At Benhall St Marys CEVC Primary School we use the premium to fund a range of intervention programs, including group and one to one tuition, to close gaps and boost attainment in Maths and English as well as interventions to ensure children are supported emotionally.

As a school we are focussed on ensuring all pupils have access to the curriculum so that all pupils can make good progress. We believe that this will prepare all pupils for life in Modern Britain.
