Collective Worship Format

Music turned down, “Good morning Benhall” and the candle lit by one of the monitors.

Call and response…

The Lord is here

His Spirit is with us

Lord’s Prayer…

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be your name

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread

Forgive us our sins As we forgive those who sin against us

Lead us not into temptation But deliver us from evil.

For the kingdom, the power And the glory is yours

Now and forever. Amen

School Prayer… Hands together eyes closed – make this your prayer or reflection

Dear Lord, thank you for our families, friends and homes,

For our school and for our teachers

We are thankful for our health and for clean water and fresh food.

We appreciate the animals and nature around us and are grateful for all the joy that you bring us.

Thankyou Lord for everything and for taking care of us all.

From the hearts and minds of all children of Benhall School. Amen

One monitor blows out the candle

The other monitor says…

The peace of the Lord be with you

Response… And also with you.

Pupils leave the hall in silence, listening to the music
