The second week in March saw our termly theme week based around Science. Our theme weeks are a very popular fun events. We had a whole week devoted to science and had dome great visitors to the school including Mad Science’s Dr Kaboom! He really made our hair stand on end with his Van den graaf generator. He even made a beach ball float above our heads in assembly!

We did lots of fun experiments with parents coming in to help and a visiting theatre company performing `Waste watchers` about recycling and was very funny and thought provoking too.

The whole wek was rounded of by a Science fair on the Friday evening. Parents and children came back to school to demonstrate lots of experiments and Mums and Dads got to have a go with some of the fun Science things the chidren had been dong in School. We finished off the evening by lighting a sky lantern in the playground and watching it float off into the sky.
