Home Learning

At Benhall, we make very careful decisions on the home learning we ask for, only asking for work which we know, from evidence over the years, actually makes a difference to the children. We like to keep homework at a minimum because we believe in the importance of play and out of school activities and how these can have a hugely positive impact on children’s development.

We do ask that children read to an adult every night, and that it is recorded in their Home/School Planner. The more reading they do, the more prizes they win!
